What it is.
ENHANCER VINTAGE-73 is the entry door to noshigeSound. It models the high-shelf section of a piece of British preamp / EQ hardware that has been on more records than anyone can credibly count — we're not naming the box, but you know which one.
The point of releasing it free is simple. The character of a great analog circuit isn't in any one setting — it's in how the circuit behaves across its whole range. Drop ENHANCER VINTAGE-73 on a vocal, drum bus, or master, and even with the control at zero, the signal carries the small nonlinearities that say "real preamp". Turn the knob up and the shelf opens — same curve as the hardware, end to end.
